Scott started climbing at 7 yrs old, and was the youngest person to summit "The Nose" of El Capitan at 11 years old! (that's him on the left). Take a look at this amazing zoomable photo of El Capitan. Get close enough and you can apparently see some climbers which will give you an idea of the scale! (If you find them - let me know where they are please?).
