Rock shoes

Rock shoes are made with a special sticky sole that helps when climbing. This is a list of outlets that sell kids rock shoes in the UK.
These links aren't recommendations or in order of preference.

Cool tip! If you don't want to fork out too much straight away for rock boots, how about investing for now in a cheap pair of school gym shoes (the kind with the rubber soles)? Thanks to Jenny from The Foundry/CragX for that one!

Read these useful BMC articles which comment on climbing shoes for younger climbers:
Climbing shoes: is pain insane?

NOTE:
Kids feet are delicate and growing - consider not choosing tight-fitting shoes. To accomodate growth and make for a looser fit, size them with socks on and do get the child to actually wear them so they can tell you if they hurt anywhere.

I'm reliably informed that the man with the van at Fontainbleu sells resoled kids shoes for about €20. He has velcro, slippers and lace-ups.
Thanks to Pinky on UK Climbing for that one!
